As part of CPH STAGE, the Alison Knowles exhibition sets the stage for performances created for Copenhagen International Dance Festival - incl. a reinterpretation of "Celebration Red"

On the occasion of CPH STAGE, and within Nikolaj Kunsthal’s Alison Knowles exhibition, a series of performances created specifically for the Copenhagen International Dance Festival 2026 will be presented.

For this event, Alison Knowles’ interactive work “Celebration Red” (1962) will be reinterpreted. The choreographers are Gustavo Ramirez, Adi Salant, Erika Cucumazzo, Jon Ole Olstad and Lotte Sigh. The performances will be presented by dancers including Yuri Fortini, Giuseppe Salomone, Erika Cucumazzo and others.

Admission is free, and everyone is welcome.

The event is part of Art Matter Festival 2026.
