Finissage * Noah Holtegaard x Sarah Pihl x Havet i munden

Join us for the final celebration of "Jeg ønskede aldrig at såre nogen", where Noah Holtegaard’s exhibition sets the stage for an excerpt from the performance "Havet i munden". An evening about marginalisation, trans experiences and sensibility.

Join us on Thursday 4 June, 17:00–19:00, as we mark the closing of the Platform exhibition "Jeg ønskede aldrig at såre nogen" ("I Never Meant to Hurt Anyone"), created by visual artist Noah Holtegaard in collaboration with curator Sarah Pihl.

The exhibition explores the scapegoat as a symbol and draws on historical research into how marginalised groups have repeatedly been blamed for society’s conflicts and collective fears.

As part of the finissage, you can experience an excerpt from the musical performance "Havet i munden" ("The Sea in the Mouth"), created in response to Luka Holmegaard’s critically acclaimed poetry collection of the same name. Like Noah Holtegaard’s exhibition, "Havet i munden" centres on trans experience and explores how fragility, sensibility and rage can exist side by side.

"Havet i munden" is created by Kai Merke in collaboration with Luka Holmegaard, Faun Vium, Mija Milovic and Ludvig Lulu Brostrup.

Admission is free. Everyone is welcome.
