Paradise Jazz: Bévort 3

The trio is led by award-winning saxophonist and composer Pernille Bévort, whose colorful and original voice has made a strong mark on the Danish jazz scene. She is accompanied by the outstanding musicians Morten Ankarfeldt on bass and Espen Laub von Lillienskjold on drums.

In the trio's intimate format – without harmony instruments – the acoustic sound of the instruments, the melodic compositions, and the musicians' detailed, imaginative interplay come to the fore. The music is dynamic, open, and full of presence, leaving room for both lyrical moments and energetic expressions.

New album: A Cup of Joe

With the release of the new album A Cup of Joe, Bévort 3 marks the 25th anniversary of the death of saxophone legend Joe Henderson. Pernille Bévort draws inspiration from Henderson's universe and compositions, but interprets them with her own musical fingerprint. The album will be released in January 2026 and promises a concert experience full of surprises, intensity, and top-class musicality.
