Paradise Jazz: Chris Andersen Quartet featuring Vanisha Gould (DK/US)

Inspired by icons such as Billie Holiday, Nina Simone, Joni Mitchell, Carmen McRae, and Ella Fitzgerald, she creates a personal and intimate expression that encompasses soul, intensity, and poetry.

She has made her mark with releases such as the duo album Life's a Gig (with pianist Chris McCarthy) and the quartet album She's Not Shiny, She's Not Smooth on Cellar Live. Gould has previously visited Denmark with great success in 2019 and 2024 – most recently on tour with Chris Andersen 4tet in both Denmark and Sweden.

Now she returns to Denmark, this time flanked by a strong and talented band, who together will create a concert experience full of warmth, presence, and musical energy.
