Paradise Jazz: Good People Music - memorial concert for Marc Bernstein

Saxophonist, composer and teacher Marc Bernstein left us earlier this spring, and the concert was originally planned as a celebration of his return after a long absence.

The four musicians that Marc had invited to play with him each had a close relationship with him, and with the concert they want to pay tribute to Marc, his fantastic music and the great impression he left on the many students and musician colleagues – both as a teacher, musician and composer.

Sinne, Thommy, Gunde and Martin have therefore chosen to make a concert in his memory, where they will play selected compositions from Marc's many releases.

With them they will be the American cornetist Kirk Knuffke, with whom Marc also collaborated in recent years.

It will be a beautiful evening, which – in addition to the quintet – will also feature surprise guests.
