Paradise Jazz: Nordiske Röster - Cathrine Legardh

She will be accompanied by her regular musicians, pianist Jacob Christoffersen and bassist Jesper Thorn, as well as a special guest – either violinist/harmonica player Alexander Kraglund or trumpeter Jesper Riis. There will be music from across the Nordic region (Finland, Sweden, Norway, Iceland, and Denmark), and the repertoire includes interpretations of a handful of great Swedish artists: Olle Adolphson, Evert Taube, Cornelis Vreeswijk, and the recently deceased bassist Georg Riedel. The lyrics were written by great authors such as Tove Jansson, Tove Ditlevsen, and Astrid Lindgren. In addition, there will also be interpretations of more recent music from, for example, Bo Kaspers Orkester and from Legardh's own pen. In other words, it will be a versatile and very Nordic-sounding concert.
