Paradise Jazz: The Bergcrantz Family Project

This evening at Paradise Jazz offers a very special musical experience with a family where jazz and composition have been a lifelong passion through generations.

The trumpeter is the son of the well-known Swedish jazz pianist Sven Bergcrantz, and together with his wife, composer and pianist Anna-Lena Laurin, he has continued the strong musical legacy.

Their daughters, Rebecca and Iris Bergcrantz, are both established singers and composers with international careers. They have played with their father since childhood and continue to create music both in their own projects and in joint constellations. Bassist Anders Fjeldsted – who is also Iris' partner – adds a solid and creative foundation to the music.

The icing on the cake is one of Europe's finest drummers, Jonas Holgersson, who ties everything together with virtuosity and energy.

The evening's repertoire consists of compositions written by almost all of the band members, giving the audience a broad and personal taste of their musical universe – from lyrical melodies to energetic improvisations.
