Kate Bush - et popikon, en outsider, en musikalsk tryllekunstner.

Med sin spændende stemme, flygtige stil og drømmende musikvideoer har Kate Bush været en gåde for generationer af lyttere i årtier. I Cloudbusting tager sangerinden og performeren Aline Goffin publikum med på en rejse gennem Bushs fantastiske univers. Ikke med en klassisk koncert, men med et særligt øjeblik, hvor musik, bevægelse og billede mødes. Videokunstneren Nele Fack har allerede blændet publikum med sine animationer i blandt andet THELONIOUS af Zonzo Compagnie. I Cloudbusting giver hun endnu engang sin visuelle fantasi frit løb med magiske hologrammer.

Du vil høre velkendte sange som Running Up That Hill – som blev enormt populær igen takket være Netflix-serien Stranger Things – men også overraskende perler, som du måske ikke kender (endnu). Alines stemme er ofte blevet sammenlignet med Kate Bushs, men med Cloudbusting gør hun den til sin egen historie. Kun bevæbnet med sin stemme, en miniguitar og et par trommestikker, beviser Aline, at Kate Bushs sange forbliver intakte, selv i denne minimalistiske setting.

Det bliver et intimt møde mellem sanger og muse, mellem dengang og nu.

Spilletider: Cloudbusting spiller lørdag kl 10.30, 13.30 og 15. 30 samt søndag kl 10.30, 12.00 og 14.30

Billetter: Forestillingen er en del af BIG BANG og en billet gælder til en hel festivaldag. I infoboden veksler i billetkøbet til et armbånd og så er i klar til at gå på opdagelse i hele festivalprogrammet, da der er fri adgang til alle aktiviteter. Bemærk at til denne forestilling skal I derudover have en pladsbillet, da der er begrænsede pladser pr. forestilling.

Hva' for en festival?

BIG BANG er en international familiefestival med fokus på musik og lyd. Vi fylder Amagers Musiktorv og husene omkring med fantastiske musikforestillinger, skøre installationer, lydeksperimenter, vidunderlige koncerter, workshops, kreativt værksted og ægte festivalhygge!

Forestillingerne foregår i Amager Bio, BETA, Teater ZeBU, og Børnekulturhus Ama’r, som alle ligger i forbindelse med festivalpladsen, hvor der vil være aktiviteter og koncerter. Til de indendørs forestillinger, kan I med fordel booke en plads i infoboden når I ankommer, da der vil være enkelte forestillinger med begrænset kapacitet. Snacks og drikkevarer kan købes på pladsen, men I er også velkomne til at medbringe jeres eget.

Who is Kate Bush? That's a difficult question: a pop icon, an outsider, a musical magician.

With her intriguing voice, elusive style and dreamy music videos, Kate Bush has been an enigma to generations of listeners for decades. In Cloudbusting, singer and performer Aline Goffin takes young people on a journey through Bush's inimitable universe. Not with a classical concert, but with a particularly intimate moment in which music, movement and image come together. Video artist Nele Fack has already dazzled audiences with her animations in THELONIOUS by Zonzo Compagnie, among others. In Cloudbusting, she once again gives free rein to her visual imagination with magical holograms.

You will hear familiar songs such as Running Up That Hill – which became hugely popular again thanks to the Netflix series Stranger Things – but also surprising gems that you may not know (yet). Aline's voice has often been compared to that of Kate Bush, but with Cloudbusting she makes it her own story. Armed only with her voice, a mini guitar and a pair of sticks, Aline proves that Kate Bush's songwriting skills remain intact even in this minimal setting.

It will be an intimate encounter between singer and muse, between then and now.

Performance times: Cloudbusting can be seen Saturday at10.30, 13.30 and 15.30 and Sunday at 10.30, 12.00 and 14.30.

Tickets: The performance is part of BIG BANG and one ticket is valid for an entire festival day. At the info booth, exchange your ticket for a wristband and you are ready to explore the entire festival program, as there is free access to all activities. Notice that for this performance you will need a seat reservation as seas are limeted. You will get it at the infobooth.

What kind of festival?

BIG BANG is an international family festival with a focus on music and sound. We fill Amager's Musiktorv and the surrounding buildings with fantastic music performances, crazy installations, sound experiments, wonderful concerts, workshops, creative workshops and real festival fun!

The performances take place in Amager Bio, BETA, Teater ZeBU, and Børnekulturhus Ama'r, all of which are located in connection with the festival site, where there will be activities and concerts. For the indoor performances, it is a good idea to book a seat at the information booth when you arrive, as there will be some performances with limited capacity. Snacks and drinks can be purchased at the venue, but you are also welcome to bring your own.
