Dupont is in the midst of a significant transformation. After several years as a band, the project has returned to its roots: one person, one voice, and a deep desire to create music that feels authentic. On stage, you meet Mikkel, the songwriter behind Dupont, who won DR’s KarriereKanonen in 2024 and now continues solo.

The concert offers new songs as well as the stories behind them – including the single Night Terrors, written in just ten minutes as a direct cry for help and a reminder that music can be a refuge, a language and a form of therapy.

Dupont began in Skive as a solo project, and that space for immersion and vulnerability shapes the musical direction you can experience now. Mikkel shares the process, the change and the ambition to create a space where the audience can listen, feel and be surprised.
