Dusty Rag Jazz Band | CPH Jazz Festival

Dusty Rag Jazz Band was formed in 2015 when a group of friends with a love for street music in the birthplace of jazz, New Orleans, started playing together on the streets and in parks around Copenhagen. The idea was to bring a little piece of New Orleans to a Danish audience in an accessible and down-to-earth way. Today, 10 years later, an infectious energy, joy, curiosity and dynamic playful approach to the ensemble are the hallmarks of the band. 

The repertoire consists primarily of traditional jazz songs with roots in the blues and folk music of 19th century America, as well as their own compositions that highlight the band's unique identity.
