International Citizen Days 2026 (friday)

International Citizen Days 2026 brings together public authorities, private organisations and local communities for two days of help and guidance on everything from career and networking to housing and social life. With an exciting programme offering insightful talks, debates, fun activities and a lively fair in a warm and ‘hyggelig’ atmosphere, we hope to make your transition from global to local citizen as smooth as possible.

FRIDAY, 25 SEPTEMBER 2026

Friday is all about career and networking, giving you the chance to meet interesting companies together with a broad range of organisations offering guidance on how to unfold your professional potential and kickstart your career in Denmark. You will be introduced to the Danish labour market including the inescapable codes of Danish workplace culture, recruitment processes, and collective agreements with plenty of opportunities to mingle and widen your network!

International Citizen Days is organised by The City of Copenhagen/International House Copenhagen and co-funded by the European Union’s Interreg ØKS programme as part of the Cross-border Talent Bridge project along with the European Social Fund and The Danish Board of Business Development. Learn more about the project here.
