It’s a Wonderful Life
We screen Frank Capra’s It’s a Wonderful Life (1946), widely regarded as one of the greatest Christmas films ever made. The film tells the moving story of George Bailey, whose life of generosity and self-sacrifice takes a dramatic turn when he is shown the impact he has had on the people around him. It remains a powerful and emotional tale about community, hope and the meaning we create in each other’s lives.
The screening is presented by CPH Film Club and Huset Biograf as part of CPH Movie Nights – a monthly series showcasing remarkable films from around the world. After the film, you’re invited to the Cinema Café for a relaxed social meetup where you can connect with other film enthusiasts.
