Paradise Jazz: Alice Carreri Quartet

With French-Italian singer Alice Carreri in front, the quartet has handpicked some of the finest songs from French, Italian and American jazz. The repertoire includes fresh interpretations of Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Henri Salvador, Bruno Martino, Serge Gainsbourg, George Gershwin and many more.

The music evokes the mood of a Parisian sidewalk café on a spring evening, a late summer night in Tuscany, or a smoky New York jazz club in the 1950s. Blending Southern European charm with a touch of Nordic cool, the quartet presents classics with renewed energy while giving modern songs a warm vintage sound.

The band features some of Denmark’s most prominent jazz musicians: Jacob Fischer (guitar), Andreas Møllerhøj (bass) and Esben Laub von Lillienskjold (drums). Together with Carreri’s voice, they create a concert experience that feels both timeless and contemporary.
