Sander Sanchez + Kat Brix + Laura Amelia

Get ready for an evening where three talented up-and-coming Danish artists come together to explore the world of English-language music! Everything from holographic EDM and pulsating beats to colorful, genre-bending pop and cinematic indie music.

All three artists are affiliated with the Danish Songwriting Academy—either as former students or as part of the academy’s current community—and each represents, in their own way, the new generation of Danish songwriters and artists.

Laura Amelia

Laura Amelia is an up-and-coming artist who creates catchy and contrasting indie-pop by blending pop with elements of rock and folk. Since childhood, she has often felt like an outsider and observed the world around her from a distance. This has shaped a vivid imagination and a love for cinematic storytelling—both central elements in her lyrical universe. As a result, it’s not always clear whether her songs stem from personal experiences or are entirely fictional. What you can be sure of, however, is that her lyrics are visual, direct, and true to the story they tell. Over the past six months, Laura Amelia has released her first three singles and has now begun preparing for her live debut.

Kat Brix

Since her debut single “In Love With a Psycho”—which, according to GAFFA, was highlighted as one of the best Danish songs of 2025—Kat Brix has established herself as an artist who blends vulnerability with intensity. With her debut album *ZERO*, released earlier this year, she takes the listener on a personal and intense journey through destructive love and the rebuilding of her own strength—a universe shaped by raw honesty and effervescent pop energy.

Behind Kat Brix is an artist who has worked tirelessly on her sound and vision for years. With a background in electronic music and songwriting from both the South Danish Music Conservatory and the Danish Songwriting Academy, she has created an alternative pop universe where hyperpop, EDM, and drum and bass meet powerful vocals and a distinctive visual aesthetic. Kat Brix’s sound is playful, energetic, and personal, with references to artists like Charli XCX, Aqua, and Tove Lo—but with a sound and aesthetic that are entirely her own.

The audience can look forward to an intimate evening where Kat, with her voice—at once fragile and powerful—and deep emotional resonance, will tell the story of her debut album while also presenting a breath of fresh air in the form of a couple of unreleased songs.

Sander Sanchez

As a Native American powwow dancer, Sander approaches music and dance from a more spiritual perspective, where heart and soul are essential elements.

Sander Sanchez has based his career in Copenhagen—though his origins lie in Jutland and South Dakota (USA)—where Sander traces his Native American roots—which have had a major impact on his musical expression.

Sander is a color junkie, and his aesthetic is highly light-bending, holographic, and expressive. Genre-wise, Sander is playful and moves effortlessly between styles such as Dynamic Pop, ’80s, Soul, R&B, Hip-Hop-Blues, Ambient, and EDM, which come together in an explosive and cohesive sound. He is also inspired by the new electronic subgenre Vapor Twitch.

Sander has performed on countless Danish stages and at major events such as “World Pride 21” at KB-Hallen, “Copenhagen Pride,” and the DR Concert Hall (where he opened for American drag star Adore Delano)—the Royal Arena for “DMGP 2020,” where he placed second with the song “SCREENS”—and “Danish Rainbow Awards 22” at the Cirkusbygningen, where he was also nominated for Artist of the Year. He also performed at SPOT 25 and subsequently at Arena Nord for DMGP 2026, where he placed an impressive 4th with the song “Two Spirits.”
