#You Can Also Be A Sound Engineer

If you’re a musician, booker, agent, festival organizer - or simply have the curiosity of live sound engineering - then this workshop might be for you!

Aarhus Lydforening in collaboration with Tuborgfondet, ROSA, and Union presents the 7th edition of #YouCanAlsoBeA Sound Engineer to share knowledge and exchange experiences with live sound engineering as well as raise women and gender minority involvement in live sound engineering and music technology.

The workshop includes:

➽ An introduction to live sound
➽ Insights into digital mixers, acoustics, monitor mixing, FOH, and microphone placement
➽ Talks about sound perception at concerts and the psychology of working with musicians
➽ Hands-on experience ( exercises, soundchecks, concert)
➽ Expand your network and meet other people in this interest
➽ Exchange experiences
➽ And just be YOURSELF in our safe, open and friendly space

The project primarily focuses on young (16-35) female og non-binary people all over Denmark who are interested in live sound engineering and music technology from any genre, but everyone is welcome to join.

No prior experience needed

You don’t need to play an instrument or have deep musical knowledge. If you’re curious, eager to learn something new, and simply love music, you’re welcome to join and explore this field with us.

The price is DKK 200. Price includes lunch and snack
