Farv garn med planter og grøntsager fra køkkenet

Du får en introduktion til farveprocessen samt inspiration til, hvilke planter og grøntsager der kan bruges, så du efterfølgende kan farve garn derhjemme.

Vi arbejder med fire forskellige farver, og du får naturligvis dit eget garn med hjem, klar til dit næste strikkeprojekt. Under workshoppen vil der være en pause, mens garnet trækker farve til sig i farvegryderne. I pausen har du mulighed for at købe mad i caféen eller udforske designmarkedet nedenunder.

Praktisk 

Materialer: Vi stiller bejdset garn til rådighed til hver deltager. Du er også velkommen til at medbringe dit eget bejdsede garn, fx en garnnøgle eller nogle stykker restgarn. Husk, at garnet skal være af naturmateriale (fx bomuld eller uld) for at tage imod farven. 

Tilmelding: Deltagelse er gratis, men tilmelding er nødvendig via Billetto. Husk at melde afbud, hvis du bliver forhindret, så andre kan få mulighed for at deltage.

Om festivalen

Arts and Crafts festival fylder Kildevæld Kulturcenter med kunst, design og håndlavede produkter, når lokale kunstnere og designere rykker ind med deres værker. Her kan du gå på opdagelse i smykker, tekstiler, keramik, illustrationer og meget mere. 

Under festivalen har du mulighed for at deltage i en række kreative aktiviteter. Lær nye teknikker på vores workshops – fra garnfarvning til juleklip og bæredygtigt håndværk i Re:wairs juleværksted. 

Tag en pause i caféen

Vi serverer dejlig mad og drikke i caféen og selvfølgelig sæsonens favoritter gløgg og æbleskiver.

Dye Yarn with Plants and Vegetables from the Kitchen

Come and experience the joy of dyeing yarn with natural materials. You will receive an introduction to the dyeing process as well as inspiration on which plants and vegetables can be used. 

We will work with four different colors, and of course, you will get to take your own yarn home, ready for your next knitting project. During the workshop, there will be a break while the yarn absorbs the color in the dye pots. During the break, you can buy food at the café or explore the design market downstairs.

Practical Information

Materials: We provide pre-mordanted yarn for each participant. You are also welcome to bring your own pre-mordanted yarn, such as a skein or some leftover pieces. Remember, the yarn must be made of natural fibers (e.g., cotton or wool) to absorb the color.

Registration: Participation is free, but registration is required via Billetto. Please cancel your registration if you are unable to attend, so others have the opportunity to join.

Location: Kildevæld Kulturcenter, Movement Hall on the 2nd floor.

The Arts and Crafts Festival fills Kildevæld Kulturcenter with art, design, and handmade creations as local artists and designers move in with their work. Here, you can explore jewelry, textiles, ceramics, illustrations, and much more.

During the festival, you’ll have the chance to take part in a range of creative activities. Learn new techniques at our workshops – from yarn dyeing to Christmas paper crafts and sustainable crafting in Re:wair’s holiday workshop.

We’ll be serving delicious food and drinks – including the season’s favorites, gløgg and æbleskiver.
